I love prints and patterns!!!! Its an essential in my wardrobe. I find that it gives me a chance to express my crazy wild personality. The best part of my prints and patterns fetish is the mixing and matching of them. Looking for away to put out my own prints and patterns I came a across a lady who inspired me with her own.

Mimi's Dada Catifesto

Taking this inspirational Dada journey I went to the library to look for books on the subject. To be honest not much was eye catching so using my library searcher skills I finally came across a adorable fun children's book called Mimi's Dada Catifesto. The Book is about a a cat name Mimi who is no ordinary cat, but an artistic cat looking for no ordinary human, but an artistic human. The book takes you on a best explained "Dada" adventure. Not only is entertaining with games and activities, but it teaches you about art and the different art styles. After reading the book I came up with an outfit Inspired by the book.

French Empire

Marcel Duchamp was a was a French artist whose work is most often associated with the Dadaist and Surrealist movements. Duchamp's ongoing preoccupation with the mechanisms of desire and human sexuality as well as his fondness for wordplay aligns his work with that of Surrealists. His refusal to follow a conventional artistic path, plus his small number of works. His short career, ultimately led to his withdrawal from the art world. As an artist myself I am really inspired by Marcel Duchamp Artwork. Although his career was short lived his courage to push the thinking of what art is or what art is not.
